Support Childhood Cancer Awareness with Every Lake Life Lager
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Royal Bliss Brewing is once again proud to participate in the Gold Ribbon Beer Challenge benefiting Cool Kids Clubhouse.
Now in our third year, the challenge brings breweries from across the Carolinas together for a little friendly competition with a much bigger purpose: supporting local children and families affected by childhood cancer.
One Beer. One Dollar. One Huge Impact.
Throughout September, Lake Life Ultra Lite Lager will serve as our official Gold Ribbon Beer. For every Lake Life sold in the taproom, Royal Bliss will donate $1 to Cool Kids Clubhouse.
Cool Kids Clubhouse provides academic, social, and emotional support for childhood cancer patients, survivors, and their families. Its programs include experiences designed to bring connection, and joy during an incredibly difficult time.
Each participating brewery selects a Gold Ribbon Beer, and the brewery that sells the most during September earns the Gold Ribbon Beer Challenge trophy.
Two Years, Two Wins
Thanks to the incredible support of our Royal Bliss community, we’ve brought home the trophy in each of the challenge’s first two years.
In 2024, you helped us donate $865 to Cool Kids Clubhouse. In 2025, our community raised the bar even higher, generating a $1,503 donation and securing our second consecutive win.
The trophy is impressive, but the most meaningful reminders of those two years are the pieces of artwork created for us by the kids. Their colorful handprints and fingerprints now hang at the brewery as a thank-you to everyone who helped make those donations possible. They’re a reminder that every Lake Life ordered represented something much greater than a friendly brewery competition.
Let’s Go for Three
This September, we’re hoping to keep the trophy at Royal Bliss for a third year—and make an even bigger difference along the way.
Helping is as simple as ordering a Lake Life Ultra Lite Lager whenever you visit the taproom during September. Every pint sold moves us one step closer to another Gold Ribbon Challenge win and contributes another dollar to the children and families supported by Cool Kids Clubhouse.
Across all participating breweries, the Gold Ribbon Beer Challenge has raised more than $8,500 in its first two years. The goal for 2026 is to sell 10,000 Gold Ribbon Beers during September, creating 10,000 opportunities to raise a glass for the coolest kids fighting cancer.
Stop by Royal Bliss, order a Lake Life, and help us fill the next line on that trophy.
Let’s bring home the gold for a third year.
